Prepping area for the concrete pad.
Built base with digging out grass, adding rock and sand.
Added rebar and concrete.
Figuring out placement of bricks.
Built the wall with my helper Rhodopsin.
Cutting a piece of backer board. We used this as a substrate for the base.
Time to add the strongest frame ever for base of the oven.
First layer is cement, second layer is a mixture of cement and perlite.
So satisfying.

An extra large dog igloo base was used to trace the outline of the oven.
Used a 12" dry/wet - dual purpose diamond blade.
Thick ceramic fiber blanket and super long flute.
Start off with several small fires to cure oven so you have less risk of cracking.
